The day that we have all been so anxiously waiting for is finally here – the launch of our 2018 Euphoria Collection! Titled Euphoria, the new shoe collection evokes a sense of happiness with abundant soft textures, floral embroidery, speckles of sequins and a wider range of color palettes. What began as a year-long journey of constant shoe sketches and endless research has brought forth one of our proudest and boldest, yet most feminine pieces to date. View our lookbook here or shop the collection here.
For this time around, we were inspired by a ton of beautiful embroidery and beadwork techniques that we saw all over the Fashion Week runways. We wanted to emulate this artwork, which is often found exclusively in couture runway shows, in comfortable and extremely fashion-forward bridal shoes. We adopted different embroidery and beadwork techniques on this collection.
We took great effort into implementing feedback from our customers by having more low-heeled options, like the classic Amelia, feminine Rosa or vintage May. We also added more comfortable and stylish flat options like the beautifully sequined Ariel that is the very definition of a Cinderella-inspired wedding shoe, which also comes in the traditional high heel and low heel. While we pushed ourselves to play with different and more bold styles, we also wanted to stay true to our aesthetics: feminine and romantic. For more 2018 Wedding Shoe Trends, click here!
One of our proudest projects this season was expanding our product category to Occasions collection. Just like our bridal shoes, the collection embraces feminine silhouettes and details that elevat any outfit to the next level. Ranging from a wide variety of color palettes from the classic everyday nude to lustrous gold, ladylike blush to foolproof black, we want to create pieces for all personality types and occasions.
If you are a bold and daring woman who wants to show off her style, wear our most streetwear-worthy black heel Paige and elevate your all-black number into one that screams #ootn. Perhaps you’re a classic girl that prefers a black lace number like our Anita black that also comes in ivory, gold and low heel. Or you might want a gold number to your white ensemble like our beloved Grace or the classic strappy bow heel Aubrey. Maybe a Champagne shoe might do you good without getting you tipsy, like our sparkly Frances Champagne or jeweled embellished Belinda.
Following the success of the first collection, we were also delighted and extremely honored to team up once again with Joy Proctor to launch her second capsule collection. We love Joy for constantly pushing the boundary to be bolder and rethink the traditional bridal shoe. From Joy Proctor: “For my 2018 Joy Proctor for Bella Belle Collection, I was inspired by old world elegance paired with modern lines. Looking to the quality of the past, I chose to highlight embroidery in each of the three designs, using a neutral linen base and floral embroidery motif for each. The Lavender flat reflects my own personal favorite shoe style of choice, an elegant flat with a fun bow. I chose a "V" opening for the toe, which gave the feet a beautiful moment of sexiness. The Orchid is an elegant yet glam choice that added the luxe of a gold heel, while being a very comfortable choice for any wedding. And who wouldn't want to walk on gold? The Peony is a truly sexy bootie with low cut outs on either side, an elegant stiletto heel and beautiful peep toe to show off your toes." The Peony comes in both blue and white embroidery.
We wanted the aura of the lookbook to be inspired by the euphoric nature of the shoe collection itself. Inspired by couture fashion, we wanted the lookbook to be edgy and provide a fashion-forward interpretation of a bridal look. We hope to bring couture fashion to an everyday bridal look that any bride can embody. With such a big task at hand, we are delighted to have partnered and works with such amazing talents that help bring our vision to life. Joy Proctor provided impeccable design skills and taste in styling and directing the vision of the pictorial. Laura Gordon beautifully captured the soft and ethereal elements of Euphoria in every frame with her signature style of romanticism and fine artistry.
