One of my most honored achievements as an international wedding designer and creative stylist has been my collaboration with Bella Belle Shoes. As a creative and an admitted “idea-holic”, the opportunity to dream up and design shoes has given me the chance to hone my concepts in new ways. The result is a sophisticated, couture inspired view of style that merges the world of high fashion editorial with comfort and practicality. My designs are born from a reverence and nostalgia for the elegance and quality of the past. Techniques like embroidery, pleating and leather craft highlight the quality of the line. The collaboration with Bella Belle has awarded me the opportunity to merge my elegant yet understated aesthetic with bridal fashion, offering a fresh perspective for the most discerning of brides worldwide.
The Lavender flat reflects my own personal favorite shoe style of choice, an elegant flat with a fun bow. I chose a "V" opening for the toe, which gave the feet a beautiful moment of sexiness.
The Peony is a truly sexy bootie with low cut outs on either side, an elegant stiletto heel and beautiful peep toe to show off your toes.
It was an honor to design three pairs of heels for the Bella Belle Enchanted collection. My design vision came from the colors, textures and shapes that inspire me most. Working alongside Bella Belle to source, sketch and sample the shoes from concept to factory was a fantastic experience. The heels we’ve designed reflect the elegant yet understated beauty that my design is known for, and offer a little something for everyone.
Taking inspiration from three great women in my life, I named the heels after my Grandmother, Mother and Sister. The Belle, an elegant sheer bootie with delicate tulle and pearl embroidery was named after my Grandmother, Virginia Belle Proctor. For the Adelaide, which was named after my Mother, I chose a traditional style Mary Jane and covered it in a natural linen and added muted embroidery blooms. The Elise heel was a girly yet elegant heel complete with a tulle bow, named after my little sister.
