Finding Your Perfect Fit

Getting the right fit is important to us. Here’s how to choose with confidence and find the best fit and comfort for your feet.

1. Start with your usual dress-shoe size

Check each product page for Fit Notes recommendation (e.g., “true to size,” “runs small,” “runs big”).
True to size: order your usual size.
Runs small: go ½ size up.
Runs big: go ½ size down.

2. Consider your foot width & shape

Wide feet: Open-toe or peep-toe styles offer more room. Mesh closed-toe options stretch gently. Also consider going up half a size.
Narrow feet: Closed-toe pumps and slingbacks with ankle straps offer a snug, secure fit. With open-toe styles, try half a size down for better hold.
Bunion-friendly: open or peep-toe styles, a higher side vamp that provides coverage above the bunion to reduce friction and pressure on that area, or mesh pumps that stretch for extra comfort.

3. If you’re between sizes

Choose the large size for comfort and extra room for expansion.
Add a heel liner or pad for a more secure and snug fit, if needed.

Why We Don’t Recommend Foot Measurements

We’ve helped thousands of brides find their perfect fit, and we’ve learned that measuring your foot isn’t always accurate.

Measurement methods differ between people.
Each shoe style has a unique shape and toe silhouette.
Every foot has its own fullness, where the same length can feel different on two feet.

That’s why we recommend using your usual dress-shoe size and checking the Fit Notes on each product page for the best guidance.

Try-On Tips

Try the shoes indoors on a clean carpet to keep soles pristine.
Recheck the fit in the evening, when your feet have swollen slightly. If it fits tight, you can exchange for a bigger size. If it fits well without pinching then we suggest keeping the size.
If the slingback slides down, place a heel liner near the toe for a more secure and snug fit.
Mesh styles will stretch with wear; leather will soften more gradually.

I absolutely loveeeee the look
I absolutely loveeeee the look of this shoe. With that said, I found a way to make them work. They are beautiful! My only issue is the strap across the toes is not tight enough. It_s so loose that my feet slide forward. The silk on the toes also makes it very slippery and hard to stay in place. But I loved the look and I was determined to make them work! I added non sop grips to help.

Prettiest Shoes I have ever owned
So originally I bought the style Gardenia hoping they were going to be my wedding shoes . I was so disappointed when I opened the package. Good quality but not very flattering on me. Since it was on sale it was non refundable and I ended up exchanging for this pair. I finally get what the hype is around Bella belle . These are the prettiest pair of shoes I have ever bought . The quality is amazing . It has two straps so you can switch up the look . Gorgeous!!!!!!! Might not be my wedding shoe but so happy this pair found its way to me.

Absolutely love this shoe. This is my first pair of shoes from Bella Belle. They are so beautiful and comfortable. As a person who hasn’t been able to wear heels due to neuropathy, it was such a shocking pleasure to know I could wear these gorgeous heels for my daughter’s wedding.
