Getting the right fit is important to us. Here’s how to choose with confidence and find the best fit and comfort for your feet.
1. Start with your usual dress-shoe size
- Check each product page for Fit Notes recommendation (e.g., “true to size,” “runs small,” “runs big”).
- True to size: order your usual size.
- Runs small: go ½ size up.
- Runs big: go ½ size down.
2. Consider your foot width & shape
- Wide feet: Open-toe or peep-toe styles offer more room. Mesh closed-toe options stretch gently. Also consider going up half a size.
- Narrow feet: Closed-toe pumps and slingbacks with ankle straps offer a snug, secure fit. With open-toe styles, try half a size down for better hold.
- Bunion-friendly: open or peep-toe styles, a higher side vamp that provides coverage above the bunion to reduce friction and pressure on that area, or mesh pumps that stretch for extra comfort.
3. If you’re between sizes
- Choose the large size for comfort and extra room for expansion.
- Add a heel liner or pad for a more secure and snug fit, if needed.
Why We Don’t Recommend Foot Measurements

- Every foot has its own fullness, where the same length can feel different on two feet.
That’s why we recommend using your usual dress-shoe size and checking the Fit Notes on each product page for the best guidance.
Try-On Tips
- Try the shoes indoors on a clean carpet to keep soles pristine.
- Recheck the fit in the evening, when your feet have swollen slightly. If it fits tight, you can exchange for a bigger size. If it fits well without pinching then we suggest keeping the size.
- If the slingback slides down, place a heel liner near the toe for a more secure and snug fit.
- Mesh styles will stretch with wear; leather will soften more gradually.

I love the fabric on these shoes. It’s definitely giving elegant timeless bridal. I haven’t worn them for a long period of time yet but they are comfy when I put them on. I have ginormous bunions on both feet and these fit them well. No harsh rubbing on them at all. I’m also 5’9” so the heel height is perfect. Only thing I have to get used to are the straps but I need them for stability if I’m going to wear them all night. I’m very excited to wear these for my wedding day!

Exactly what I was looking for! I’m between a US 9.5-10 (9.5 for heels, 10 for sneakers/boots), and the EU 41 / US 9.5 fits like a glove. They’re so comfortable they feel like I’m not wearing anything, and the heel height is perfect. I haven’t fully broken them in yet for my wedding, but so far they feel great and I don’t foresee any issues.

There are no words to describe how thrilled I was with my wedding shoes! My only note is that I probably could have sized down but I just missed the exchange window. I ordered a 7. 5 because I am a 38 in Birkenstocks, but I definitely could have fit into a 7. This wasn't a huge deal though because I got some heel pads/inserts to make the fit more comfortable for me. But seriously - I wore these shoes from 2PM to 2AM on the day of my wedding and not once did my feet hurt or bother me. Not only are they comfortable, but the design is just so gorgeous and timeless. *Chefs kiss*
