Finding Your Perfect Fit

Getting the right fit is important to us. Here’s how to choose with confidence and find the best fit and comfort for your feet.

1. Start with your usual dress-shoe size

Check each product page for Fit Notes recommendation (e.g., “true to size,” “runs small,” “runs big”).
True to size: order your usual size.
Runs small: go ½ size up.
Runs big: go ½ size down.

2. Consider your foot width & shape

Wide feet: Open-toe or peep-toe styles offer more room. Mesh closed-toe options stretch gently. Also consider going up half a size.
Narrow feet: Closed-toe pumps and slingbacks with ankle straps offer a snug, secure fit. With open-toe styles, try half a size down for better hold.
Bunion-friendly: open or peep-toe styles, a higher side vamp that provides coverage above the bunion to reduce friction and pressure on that area, or mesh pumps that stretch for extra comfort.

3. If you’re between sizes

Choose the large size for comfort and extra room for expansion.
Add a heel liner or pad for a more secure and snug fit, if needed.

Why We Don’t Recommend Foot Measurements

We’ve helped thousands of brides find their perfect fit, and we’ve learned that measuring your foot isn’t always accurate.

Measurement methods differ between people.
Each shoe style has a unique shape and toe silhouette.
Every foot has its own fullness, where the same length can feel different on two feet.

That’s why we recommend using your usual dress-shoe size and checking the Fit Notes on each product page for the best guidance.

Try-On Tips

Try the shoes indoors on a clean carpet to keep soles pristine.
Recheck the fit in the evening, when your feet have swollen slightly. If it fits tight, you can exchange for a bigger size. If it fits well without pinching then we suggest keeping the size.
If the slingback slides down, place a heel liner near the toe for a more secure and snug fit.
Mesh styles will stretch with wear; leather will soften more gradually.

The shoes were absolutely amazing.
The best pair of heels I've ever had. Wore them the whole day, easy to walk with even though I'm not used to heels - and my feet didn't hurt at all! And they were so pretty, and matched the details of my dress perfectly. I love in Norway, and all the bridal shoes you can find here - both in bridal salons and on the internet are quite boring. I wanted shoes that looked more like fairytale shoes, and I searched all over the internet and eventually I found Bella Belle shoes. And all of the shoes were exactly what I was looking for, and it was hard to make a choice. I ended up with Joselyn, and they were perfect - I loved the tulle bow, and the glitter details in the mesh. And they had the same leave pattern as my wedding dress and were a perfect match.

Shoes Too Big & Don't Offer Needed Size for Exchange
I received my shoes in good condition, and they arrived very fast. However, they are half a size too big for me. When I went oine to exchange them, the size I needed (7.5 US) is not available. When I reached out to customer support, they said I can either get a different pair of shoes or get a refund. I need these shoes for my alterations appointment, so I don't have time to refund and find a different pair of shoes that don't go with my dress.
