Finding Your Perfect Fit

Getting the right fit is important to us. Here’s how to choose with confidence and find the best fit and comfort for your feet.

1. Start with your usual dress-shoe size

Check each product page for Fit Notes recommendation (e.g., “true to size,” “runs small,” “runs big”).
True to size: order your usual size.
Runs small: go ½ size up.
Runs big: go ½ size down.

2. Consider your foot width & shape

Wide feet: Open-toe or peep-toe styles offer more room. Mesh closed-toe options stretch gently. Also consider going up half a size.
Narrow feet: Closed-toe pumps and slingbacks with ankle straps offer a snug, secure fit. With open-toe styles, try half a size down for better hold.
Bunion-friendly: open or peep-toe styles, a higher side vamp that provides coverage above the bunion to reduce friction and pressure on that area, or mesh pumps that stretch for extra comfort.

3. If you’re between sizes

Choose the large size for comfort and extra room for expansion.
Add a heel liner or pad for a more secure and snug fit, if needed.

Why We Don’t Recommend Foot Measurements

We’ve helped thousands of brides find their perfect fit, and we’ve learned that measuring your foot isn’t always accurate.

Measurement methods differ between people.
Each shoe style has a unique shape and toe silhouette.
Every foot has its own fullness, where the same length can feel different on two feet.

That’s why we recommend using your usual dress-shoe size and checking the Fit Notes on each product page for the best guidance.

Try-On Tips

Try the shoes indoors on a clean carpet to keep soles pristine.
Recheck the fit in the evening, when your feet have swollen slightly. If it fits tight, you can exchange for a bigger size. If it fits well without pinching then we suggest keeping the size.
If the slingback slides down, place a heel liner near the toe for a more secure and snug fit.
Mesh styles will stretch with wear; leather will soften more gradually.

I am so excited to wear these on my big day! They are comfy, beautifully made and have that subtle added twinkle to make them extra special. They fit perfectly to size. Beautiful, comfortable & soooo light weight
I could not have designed a better shoe for our perfect day- even if I tried! I kept them on throughout our entire day and our guests were so shocked. They were so beautiful (matched my dress perfectly), comfortable and soooo light weight. I had my eye on them for months and when they arrived- I didn’t want to take them off. My husband (oooooh still getting used to that one) and I practiced our first dance with me wearing them many nights at home. ☺️️ Everything was a dream! I didn’t want our day to end! :u1F979:❤️️

So pretty and comfy!
I had two Bella Belle shoes for my wedding. It was so pretty and comfy. I got a lot of compliments. Each shoes served it own purpose. For my ceremony, I want the classic and elegant look/feel so I chose the closed toes. For reception, I want it sexy but still fun so I chose open toes. I will definitely wear again.
