Finding Your Perfect Fit
Getting the right fit is important to us. Here’s how to choose with confidence and find the best fit and comfort for your feet.
1. Start with your usual dress-shoe size
- Check each product page for Fit Notes recommendation (e.g., “true to size,” “runs small,” “runs big”).
- True to size: order your usual size.
- Runs small: go ½ size up.
- Runs big: go ½ size down.
2. Consider your foot width & shape
- Wide feet: Open-toe or peep-toe styles offer more room. Mesh closed-toe options stretch gently. Also consider going up half a size.
- Narrow feet: Closed-toe pumps and slingbacks with ankle straps offer a snug, secure fit. With open-toe styles, try half a size down for better hold.
- Bunion-friendly: open or peep-toe styles, a higher side vamp that provides coverage above the bunion to reduce friction and pressure on that area, or mesh pumps that stretch for extra comfort.
3. If you’re between sizes
- Choose the large size for comfort and extra room for expansion.
- Add a heel liner or pad for a more secure and snug fit, if needed.
Why We Don’t Recommend Foot Measurements

- Measurement methods differ between people.
- Each shoe style has a unique shape and toe silhouette.
- Every foot has its own fullness, where the same length can feel different on two feet.
That’s why we recommend using your usual dress-shoe size and checking the Fit Notes on each product page for the best guidance.
Try-On Tips
- Try the shoes indoors on a clean carpet to keep soles pristine.
- Recheck the fit in the evening, when your feet have swollen slightly. If it fits tight, you can exchange for a bigger size. If it fits well without pinching then we suggest keeping the size.
- If the slingback slides down, place a heel liner near the toe for a more secure and snug fit.
- Mesh styles will stretch with wear; leather will soften more gradually.

The shoes are pretty and comfortable but they did still blister my toes. This is the sole of the shoe after wearing them for the FIRST time for only ONE hour inside a dance studio for our wedding dance rehearsal. The material of the sole is not durable and already has a scuff on it despite using it on a soft surface. Not worth the price given the quality.

Regarding the sole, Bella Belle shoes are crafted with genuine leather soles. With natural leather soles, it is normal for the surface to smooth or show light marks after the first wear, even on soft surfaces. This is not damage or a defect, but rather a natural characteristic of real leather as it begins to flex and mold with movement.
With wear, the shoes will mold to the shape of your feet for a more comfortable fit.

It’s true—these are the comfiest heels I’ve ever worn!! I had them on for 14 hours and genuinely danced the night away 💕 The wedding was a combination of indoor and outdoor. We took photos outdoors, then had an indoor ceremony and reception.
Like the website advised, I ordered a half size up for my wider feet. They fit perfectly. The satin made for a very comfy toe strap, without any blistering or discomfort.

I wore the Sienna style. It was the PERFECT shoe, elegant and not too much of a heel. I had it on for over 12 hours on my wedding day, no blisters and didn’t even have to break them in at all! I recommend them to all my friends who are getting married! :hands_heart:🏼

I got the shoes at the Toronto pop up which was so helpful to try them on in person! I loved the simplicity of the knot detail to go along with my dress which was quite busy, and it was so nice to have a block heel on that still felt sophisticated!

Not gonna lie they are so pretty and delicate and you can just tell they're well made. The silk is luxurious and not overdone, and the block heel is so sturdy i can jump in them. I'm super excited to wear them on my wedding day!!
