Getting the right fit is essential to how comfortable you feel in your Bella Belle Shoes. All of our shoes are handcrafted with US sizing specifications, with the conversions below provided as an approximate guide.

Finding Your Perfect Fit
Getting the right fit is important to us. Here’s how to choose with confidence and find the best fit and comfort for your feet.
1. Start with your usual dress-shoe size
- Check each product page for Fit Notes recommendation (e.g., “true to size,” “runs small,” “runs big”).
- True to size: order your usual size.
- Runs small: go ½ size up.
- Runs big: go ½ size down.
2. Consider your foot width & shape
- Wide feet: Open-toe or peep-toe styles offer more room. Mesh closed-toe options stretch gently. Also consider going up half a size.
- Narrow feet: Closed-toe pumps and slingbacks with ankle straps offer a snug, secure fit. With open-toe styles, try half a size down for better hold.
- Bunion-friendly: open or peep-toe styles, a higher side vamp that provides coverage above the bunion to reduce friction and pressure on that area, or mesh pumps that stretch for extra comfort.
3. If you’re between sizes
- Choose the large size for comfort and extra room for expansion.
- Add a heel liner or pad for a more secure and snug fit, if needed.
Why We Don’t Recommend Foot Measurements
We’ve helped thousands of brides find their perfect fit, and we’ve learned that measuring your foot isn’t always accurate.
- Measurement methods differ between people.
- Each shoe style has a unique shape and toe silhouette.
- Every foot has its own fullness, where the same length can feel different on two feet.
That’s why we recommend using your usual dress-shoe size and checking the Fit Notes on each product page for the best guidance.
Try-On Tips
- Try the shoes indoors on a clean carpet to keep soles pristine.
- Recheck the fit in the evening, when your feet have swollen slightly. If it fits tight, you can exchange for a bigger size. If it fits well without pinching then we suggest keeping the size.
- If the slingback slides down, place a heel liner near the toe for a more secure and snug fit.
- Mesh styles will stretch with wear; leather will soften more gradually.

These shoes were beautifully crafted and it was clear my worries about them snagging fabric would not be an issue due to how smooth the design was. However, the shoe was very snug across my toes and it was clear I wouldn't be able to last in these shoe all day with how snug they felt. I would recommend these shoes to someone with a narrower foot.
FYI: I wear a standard 7 in almost every shoe I have purchased in the past 4-5 years. My foot is just slightly wider than average but I can always purchase and wear regular shoes.

I am someone who cared more about my shoes than the wedding dress I would wear on my special day. It took me several months to find the perfect shoe, but finally I came across them. They are simply stunning. Classic with the perfect accent to make them truly special.

The Jasmine shoe is beautifully designed! The shoes literally look like they came out of a Fairy tale. I won_t say they are at all _affordable_ for what I usually spend on shoes, or 100 percent comfortable, but they_re also wedding high heels so all that_s to be expected. I wish the shoes I picked came in a smaller heel, but I loved the design so very much that I didn_t mind the extra inches. Even though the shoes are higher than I like, the overall look and design of the shoe is so beautiful that it totally makes up for it. Very pleased.
