Finding Your Perfect Fit
Getting the right fit is important to us. Here’s how to choose with confidence and find the best fit and comfort for your feet.
1. Start with your usual dress-shoe size
- Check each product page for Fit Notes recommendation (e.g., “true to size,” “runs small,” “runs big”).
- True to size: order your usual size.
- Runs small: go ½ size up.
- Runs big: go ½ size down.
2. Consider your foot width & shape
- Wide feet: Open-toe or peep-toe styles offer more room. Mesh closed-toe options stretch gently. Also consider going up half a size.
- Narrow feet: Closed-toe pumps and slingbacks with ankle straps offer a snug, secure fit. With open-toe styles, try half a size down for better hold.
- Bunion-friendly: open or peep-toe styles, a higher side vamp that provides coverage above the bunion to reduce friction and pressure on that area, or mesh pumps that stretch for extra comfort.
3. If you’re between sizes
- Choose the large size for comfort and extra room for expansion.
- Add a heel liner or pad for a more secure and snug fit, if needed.

That’s why we recommend using your usual dress-shoe size and checking the Fit Notes on each product page for the best guidance.
Try-On Tips
- Try the shoes indoors on a clean carpet to keep soles pristine.
- Recheck the fit in the evening, when your feet have swollen slightly. If it fits tight, you can exchange for a bigger size. If it fits well without pinching then we suggest keeping the size.
- If the slingback slides down, place a heel liner near the toe for a more secure and snug fit.
- Mesh styles will stretch with wear; leather will soften more gradually.

I was able to wear these for 6 hours and would say these were high quality. The only concern I had was the clasp which was a bit tricky and hence the 4 out of 5 star rating.

I was convinced by all the wonderful reviews that these shoes and this brand were worth the price. I have regular feet, not narrow not wide, and although the shoes fit perfectly, they gave me blisters after wearing them for 4 hours. You cannot return or exchange shoes that are worn (fine), but then again that leaves you unable to test these shoes at all for comfort. Just wearing them around the house scuffs them up significantly. I wish I had not thrown away hundreds of dollars and gone with a brand that has a more flexible return or exchange policy, and a more comfortable shoe. After my one wear, the silk was torn in places and the pointy toe started to fray. Save your money!

Unfortunately, you wore the shoes out to an event already which means the shoes have been worn and are not eligible for a return. For trying on the shoes, we recommend trying them on carpet only to prevent any accidental damage. If you then decide to keep the shoes, then we recommend breaking them in with thick socks on around the house before wearing them to any event. Please also note that since silk is a delicate fabric, we recommend protecting them with a weatherproofing spray that protects against water and dirt. The shoes are beautiful. I just didn’t like how the pointed toe looked on me. I really prefer a peep toe.
